May 13-18 - trying hard to catch up

I'll post a blog on the Sunshine 1200 once I get caught up (will that ever happen ?), but in the meantime, suffice it to say that everyone is alive (thank goodness), and safe (but we had a couple of scares).  Out of 58 starters (including the 7 pre-riders) we had 51 finishers.  There were around a dozen newbies in the group doing their first 1200k. 

What an event.  Amazing drama.  Amazing riders and volunteers.  Randonnesia is setting in already and I'm forgetting how tired I was. 

Right now I'm working through some of the ride financials and hope to get out to ride myself later today.
