May 13 - 12 hours of madness !

The ferry ride was great this time. There was some scrambling with hotel rooms not available until 4pm, bikes, etc but it all worked out.

We setup at the hotel for registration and it took a full two hours to issue packets, install SPOTs and in the meantime people had some food and drink.

Dick and I went to the Publix before closing and picked up breakfast items. Picking up some luggage at one hotel, we want to the start and then for 45 minutes we checked people in and got waivers signed, used up some food.

We found after reconciling that we might be missing two overnight bags so after breakfast we got out ahead of most riders only to find that he'd sent his bag with a fellow Albertan's wife. We are just now waiting for the last riders and will the play leapfrog.
