May 27 - Zoe just up

She's getting lots of sleep here !  Very interesting child, will amuse herself for hours on end, doesn't need outside entertainment.  Of course much of that is with video games on one "pad" or another.

On the flip side, she doesn't want to sing to anyone else's tune, so to speak.  She's been a totally happy camper, but yesterday when Sandy took her shopping into Sudbury, of course that was on Sandy's schedule, in and out of the car.  The day didn't go well.  Lesson learned.

I got the gazebo unwrapped and the docks in place.  As usual, it was a bear getting the big dock up onto its lip.  No doubt the water level will now rise so that I could have floated it on.  C'est la vie.

I've got work to do on the gazebo, screen work that is.  I didn't do it last year and now there are wide gaps, it's definitely not fly-proof.  I can do a temporary fix with someone inside as I apply tape outside.

Sandy did manage to pickup a swing for Zoe yesterday so it will replace the one hanging from the pine, at least for a short time. 

I also went into town to pick up the mail and started work on the generator, but didn't manage to re-connect with them by the end of the day.  It's about time to try that number again.
