Jun 15 - ride and plex and roku

I finally got out for a ride; it's been a week.  It felt like a month.  Next week's SR600k is going to be tough !

It was cloudy for the first 2/3 of the ride and then the sky cleared and the sun came out.  I had a goodly headwind on the way south (yes, I rode north for a change); it was interesting to see where the road construction stands.  We're now on the new roadway as they tear up the old roadway, "twinning" the section north of French River.  What was wrong with the old roadway anyway ?  Ok, I admit that the surface took a beating during the construction, but it will take a beating repeatedly as they do sections north and south of that.  There's probably a reason ...

I finally got around to installing Pex Server on my portable Linux setup and plugged in the Roku so that I could watch some of the TV episodes that I got from Jeffrey.  It's pretty static here but I'll be able to do more updating when in Florida.  In the meantime, I can catch up on Dr Who and The Blacklist.

Sandy and Emma got home around 6:30 and we had dinner, each doing our own thing.  I had sausages; Sandy had some of the Costco lasagna, Emma had a hot dog.  What a household.  Even Abby had her own food (kind of expected, on that score).

Work continues on Donnie's addition; I saw Art along the road as I headed out for my ride, might see him today to lend him my concrete mixer; nothing much else new on the road.

Onward !
