Jun 3 - poppa and zoe

We had a good day.  Sandy left a little afternoon, doing an errand for me on the way, checking out Shebeshakong Road (18 kms of pavement, thank goodness) for our upcoming 600k.  One very bad railway track she reported.

Zoe was very slow going to sleep, practicing her yelling (not upset, just liked hearing herself shout), clapping etc.   I went up a couple of times and covered her with the blanket and just as I might have given up on the idea, she went to sleep about 3:30 and slept until after 5pm.  She got up in a good mood, wanted to go in the boat, switched that off and wanted a snack and then we got out the bubble maker, giving her an opportunity to run around outside.

She had beefaroni for dinner; I had leftover this and that.  Wheats.  Wheats with everything.  Mini Wheats that is.  She loves them.  She also loves dried cherries which taste more-or-less like raisins.

She went to bed about 8:15, we played around and read three books, found puppy after searching high and low (was under the covers), then went down for good at 8:45 and didn't make a peep all night.  That was a treat !

While outside, she had a good time with the swing for a while, pushing it.  Yes, she was out there pushing the swing by herself, nothing in the swing ... hey, works for me !

She's had more fun with playdoh, always out.  She had Wheats again for breakfast, two bowls.

Not much more to report.  Another beautiful day in paradise, mosquitoes finally absent inside the house, none in evidence this morning.  Of course there are still some outside, what do you expect ?

Oh yes, the meter maid came, the Hydro Meter Man, of course.  I just got a revised bill for September through June -- zero, in fact I have a $300 credit.  Two bills ago it was $500.something; last bill it was $1300.something, now it's zero, overpaid for the last x months.  Surprise surprise.
