Our goal of the day was two-fold -- tour buses and La Sagrada Familia. I'm happy to say that we accomplished our objectives. If you set your sights low enough, it's pretty easy !
Breakfast at the hotel, the East city tour bus, lunch, walk to La Sagrada Familia for our 3:30 tour time, back on our tour bus when has a stop there riding to the Placa Catalunya to switch buses, take the West bus and the day was pretty much done at 7:30 p.m. other than dinner, of course, which we headed off to at 9pm and back at 11pm.
The city is really amazing. We've never seen so many people in the streets. The tour was interesting, just to wander the streets. LSF was fascinating inside, kind of gross outside, for want of a better word. Overdone ? Ridiculously so ?
Sandy had a hug paella for lunch; I had a couple of appetizers. She needed red wine to cut the richness -- 1.95 Euros; we both had water with gas -- 2.25 Euros. Go figure.
Today ... off southward along the coast.
Onward !
