Nov 20 - changing weather

It was comfortable riding today, even seemed a bit cool at times.  The wind was from the NE, strong, producing a nice ride back.  The temperature is dropping over the weekend with a high of 65F on Monday before it warms up again. 

I finished up the existing laid deck, the new batteries having enough juice.  It's now time to move to the decked walkway which hopefully won't produce any surprises.  One never knows with this sort of thing -- especially once I get closer to where it meets the ground close to the house.  I have not estimated how much lumber I'll need to finish that part off.

Sandy's trainer Jessica was here when I got back with her 3-year-old Maltese.  Cassie was so excited, running around in circles, but the Maltese didn't want to play.   Sandy put Cassie in her crate today in the laundry room for a time and she was ok but didn't want to settle down at first in the evening.  I sat in there for a few minutes with her and got over that hump. 

Scallops were the base for dinner tonight; picked up yesterday along with the shrimp.
