Nov 3 - just brutal

Hot.  We'd set a new record temperature the day before and I doubt if it was any different on the 3rd.  I had to ride though, and I did.  Stopping over and over again for liquid at stores and in between to let my heart rate go down because of the heat, I don't know if I've ever been that hot, with such high humidity.  The trip south was tough, but I had the wind in my face which is cooling; the trip north with the wind was the worst.  I couldn't press too hard because it generated too much heat !

Sandy, in the meantime, had Cassie to tend.  She put up a fence between ourselves and Chet/Jean next door but Cassie is smart.  She'd just walk along the fence to the end and then go around.  It's more of a visual barrier than anything else and she's not trying to get over it ... just around ... sheesh.

She was a bit lethargic during the day -- either due to a deworming pill or missing me, we'll never know.  She wasn't lethargic once I was home though.  Bouncing, chasing the ball, racing around, puppydom at its best.

That was about it.  I now have my November 200k under my belt and only have to worry about December before we leave.

Onward !
