Dec 8 - in the mail

I picked up some labels for computer printing and ran off the list of Sunshine 1200k riders and then stuffed envelopes with the completed brevet cards, a letter and, in most cases, a FL1200k sticker ... until I ran out of those.  Everyone got one already; I was just handing out seconds as they were leftover.  Paul had very nicely sent the brevet cards in alphabetical order so it made it easier.

I didn't have quite enough global stamps for those requiring such (UK, Canada, Japan), so I went to the Post Office, picked up some more and mailed the whole batch there vs at the end of my driveway.

In the meantime, Sandy and Marda had gone off to Epcot for the day.  I followed them after 4pm, dropping Cassie off at Jessica's for her visit, getting to the Garden Grill just in time for dinner. Chip, Dale, Pluto and Mickey kept us entertained while we ate well; seconds of salad, beef and broccoli.

By the time I got home,10pm, Cassie was already there, calm in her kennel, returned by Jessica.  Sandy and Marda arrived a few minutes later.  They too opted not to take in Illuminations, the light and fireworks show every night at Epcot.

I was surprised, arriving after 6pm, that I was in the midst of a steady stream of car arrivals.  I would have thought that the traffic would have died down but no.

They've improved our weekday pass -- it now includes parking !  That's quite a bonus.  Two visits to Disney and our pass is basically paid for.  What a deal !  Lunch and dinner yesterday covered a large chunk of the cost of the dining pass. We need to go more often.

I'm eating breakfast.  Why is that notable ?  Well, that would be because I won't be eating breakfast tomorrow, Thursday, with the colonoscopy early Friday a.m.  I have boxes of jello on the counter in front of me as a reminder to prepare that tonight before bed.  What fun !

Onward ...
