I did get the Randonneurs Ontario year-end financials done; P&L, Bank Rec, Balance Sheet and Budget. That's been hanging over me since Sept 30. It should have been easy, since there are so few transactions, but I had to figure out what I'd accrued for last year.
So that was minus one. I also put out an agenda for the call that we had last night to kickoff the Granite Anvil for 2017 and, of course, held the call. That went fairly well, finishing up in about 40 minutes against the 30 minute timeframe. With this group that's doing well !
On the plus side, I'd forgotten the colonoscopy when I was making my list the other day -- how could I forget that !?! That will occupy my mind on Thursday since it won't occupy my stomach.
I should probably give the X5 an oil change before we leave. I'm sure that there's more.
Sandy and Marda sorted out what they are doing at Disney today; I'll be joining them for dinner. They took Cassie over to Jessica's to see how she would make out and the two dogs played in the fenced-in backyard; seems like Jessica's dog is more comfortable playing on his home turf than here; Cassie will play anywhere. Not quite a sleepover, Jessica will return her here late evening to her crate in advance of me returning home. Cassie also got to visit the pet store; Marda bought her a new toy. Cassie loves her toys !
No, I didn't work on the dock :). It was cool and windy, would have been perfect weather for outside work. Edgewater boats was holding some sort of event by the Tiki at the SYC with several boats in evidence. The yacht club is usually closed on Mondays but this was boats and, I suspect, potential buyers or perhaps potential dealers ? I don't know. They had quite a variety of boats there all tied up side-to-side and eventually they were in and out doing sea trials. They ranged from small, likely 20' range with a single outboard to their 36' with 3x300 hp on the stern. I checked the specs on that boat and it weighs 8200 lbs dry, holds 385 gallons of fuel, carries 16 people ...
For marine fuel you'd be paying $1,200 for a fill-up ? Yikes !
That miss-delivery of Stef's sanding disks came in yesterday, just over 24 hours from the re-order. That's impressive. The outbound box is still sitting here; Sandy forgot to take it with her yesterday. I'll try and get over to the UPS Store today. Silly me, I should have had it with me when I went to the Chiropractor; the UPS truck was right there on Canal Street.
I guess that's about it. Sandy and Marda should be up soon and getting organized for Disney.
Onward !
