Randy Walsh came over, as expected, for 7am. By then we actually had some water under the boat; earlier on it was dry with a very low tide. That was the good news. We drift fished with the tide, still fished by the yacht club and the causeway ... nothing. Perhaps the fish didn't like the cold either ! I had a nibble at one point and Randy lost his shrimp once; that was the extent of the action. Oh well, we'll try again another day.
I saw the chiro at 11:20. She said that I'd almost reverted to where we started -- time away, lots of car trips and oh yeah, 17 hours on the bike the day before. Methinks that the day before was most of the issue but who knows
I had a snooze in the afternoon, trying to catch up from the day before. I think that I felt worse after the snooze.
Cassie came fishing with us, of course. She also got a walk in the afternoon. That's the good news. Later she had an accident on the carpet; can't win them all !
She was so excited when Jim and Sheryl arrived ... more people ... yeah !! She had been drinking a lot of water earlier and after some horseplay with Sheryl, it happened. Rats. This is the first accident in months. Horseplay has done it before; that and probably lack of attention on my part as she might have gone to the kitchen door looking to go out and I missed it -- I'd say 90% the latter.
We ate early, really early, because Sandy was meeting Patty Hiimes to go to see some dance group in Daytona. They were originally going to have dinner together but apparently Patty broke her wrist sometime during the Christmas / New Years period and was having an awkward time eating; didn't want to go to a restaurant.
Jim, Sheryl and I retired around 10pm. I have no idea when Sandy got home but it couldn't have been too much later.
It's cold again this morning, 46F on the indoor/outdoor. It's supposed to warm up for the weekend, which is good because I've got a 200k on Saturday.
That's about it ... onward !
