Jan 9 - they're finished !

Whew, with about 1.5 hours to spare, Vinny and John finished the 1200k.  I called Vinny, having seen from SPOT that they were at the end and he was practically bouncing off the walls, he was so high.  Do you think that a 1200k in Florida is easy ? Not so if the wind keeps on shifting and you have headwinds the entire way !  Congrats to both of them !

We went to the island with Cassie, who had a blast running and chasing the ball.  When she'd had enough she went running to the boat, ball in mouth.  Silly dog.   I need to get another Chuck-it, as I left the other one, intentionally, at the cottage.

It was really foggy as we got close to the island and we weren't sure that this was such a great idea but we survived.  The water has cooled down to the mid 60's, not exactly swimming weather.  I didn't try to get Cassie swimming, but did throw the ball into the water a couple of times, ankle deep.  We'll work on deeper as it gets closer to Spring.

I moved the clothesline prepping for the work going on next door.  One end was a couple of inches onto their property.  We've got some work to do out there ourselves.

I've got to get at the snow tires, obviously not necessary now.  They'll survive longer if I get them off the car before they get any more mileage.

What else ... shrimp for dinner.  We're trying Cassie out with no gate between kitchen and living room.  She knows her boundaries but does get excited sometimes.  She is still a puppy albeit a big one now!

There's probably more but I have to get to Mass ...

Onward!
