Feb 27 - winding down Feb

... but of course Feb is longer this year ! 

Another day whizzed by; didn't really do anything special. 

Well, that's not completely true, we did run up to Jacksonville and look at pavers.  Sandy is still trying to decide on colors.  It's 1.5 hours away - kind of like running into Sudbury - so it did take a chunk of the day.  Cassie came along for the ride, of course, and then had a walk later in the day.  I'd intended to take out the skiff with her but it stayed pretty cool.

Today we're going to brunch with Jim, Sheryl, Brian and Melanie (Mel is Jim's cousin).  B&M live in Nova Scotia and winter down here, Ormond Beach area.  Then Jim & Joanne have invited the neighborhood over for drinks and whatever at 2:30 p.m. to celebrate their new backyard work and Joanne's birthday. 

Tomorrow, the 29th, I'll ride; Tuesday, the 1st, we'll be boating with Ched and Elaine Miller -- Ched is my former client from Raytheon.  He's still at Raytheon; I'm close to celebrating 10 years retired.  Life is good :). 

Later that day, Jeffrey, Sara, Emma, Zoe and Matthew arrive.  I saw on Facebook that one of the kids has come down with something; no doubt they'll share when they're here.

Busy times ahead !  Cassie has no idea what she's in for !  Onward !
