Feb 7 - oil and gas

It was somewhat of a do-nothing day.  Fact is, I'm drawing a complete blank, haven't even written the title line yet ...

I did make a run to CVS and Publix, took Cassie for a walk, played around with the Skiff fuel line, hmmm ... more blank.

The old Merc has a 3 gallon tank with the same hose fitting as the Skiff.  I filled it with gas and tried squeezing the bulb on the fuel line ... yup, builds pressure.  I then removed the brass fitting from the Skiff fuel tank and put some Teflon plumbing tape on it, but it's still not completely sealed.  I may have to try some silicone sealant or something.  If it sucks any air the motor will drain its fuel line faster than it's replenished, at full speed.

Oh yes, I changed the oil in the M5 -- not much more than a 15 minute exercise, well maybe 30 minutes once I clean up afterwards.  I haven't reset the needs-an-oil-change light but then again, it's only half-way through its counting.  I'll have to drop into the Harley dealer and pick up some oil for that machine.

Sandy and Doris did some browsing on Flagler; naturally Nico went with them.  Nico goes everywhere !  Cassie says "why can't I go everywhere ?!?!".

There must be more ...

It's a cool one this morning, 35F right now.  Sandy and Doris are planning on going to St. Augustine; I'm hoping to get out for a bike ride.

Onward ...
