Mar 27 - nothin' much

We did go out in the Skiff, the four of us (me, Sandy, David, Cassie) and she got a good run (Cassie, that is !).  Cassie also had a "play date" with Jim & Joanne's new puppy Gabby, a border collie / lab cross -- is she ever cute !  Otherwise it was pretty much a sit around day.  David is enjoying the weather; we're doing a lot of sitting out the back.  Rain threatened but never showed its face.

We've now both done our IOS updates; the phones went smoothly, the iPad not so much.  It wanted to setup two-factor authentication, which doesn't work for us since a good chunk of the year our cell phones are not accessible.   I turned that off, necessitating a change in password but then it wanted me to answer security questions, for which I'm sure that I have the correct answer, but apparently not.  For some reason I don't have a rescue email setup -- why, I don't know since it should be the same as my apple id ... and it goes on.  At this point I have a scheduled call from Apple at 8:45 a.m. today; interesting how they do that.  Part of the confusion here is that we share the apple id, i.e. we have one id.  That might not have been the best strategy but it would be a bear to change now ... it all stems from sharing an email address.

I did catch a snooze for an hour before we went out in the boat.  I felt the need.  I'm pretty much caught up.

We had ham for dinner, slow cooked on the grill.  It was an already-cooked ham and now it's pretty dry.  That might not have been the best strategy.  I could have simply grilled some slices.

We heard from Sheryl, who made it to Albany.  They did the I95 / Delaware Memorial Bridge / NJ Turnpike / Garden State route rather than swinging west, finding traffic on Easter Sunday pretty light.  That route certainly brings back memories, not all of them great !

Onward !
