Apr 16 - addendum

Late in the day I made my seed bars.  I tried different dates this time as I'm running low on the ones from up north; enough for one more batch (which is all I need) but used the new dates for the penultimate batch.

Not only did I try new dates but I also baked the bars for 1/2 hour at 350.  Well, they're now pretty crumbly and they don't taste nearly as sweet.  The sweetness is likely due to the different dates.  The crumbliness ... well that could be a combination.  They're still good but they just don't hang together :).

Earlier in the week I made a loaf of my ultra seedy bread.  It did better this time with more water, less oil, but it still had many air pockets which makes it difficult to work with.  It still tastes good though !
