Apr 19 - not quite

I setup the Velo Orange front bag to work with a removable front mounting, vs the rack.  I went out for the first ride with yet another pair of new shoes.   I used the LG helmet.  Conclusion -- the helmet is great; the bag needs a little adjustment upwards; the shoes ... well I hope that I can get these broken in; they're not quite there yet.

It was a good ride, northbound this time.  The last 15 miles were more difficult as the shoes were bothering me and the wind had shifted from ENE to ESE.  Today's wind is supposed to be SE, so it was on the move.

Sandy took Angelika to the airport and got home just as I was leaving, so Cassie always had company.  She was by herself for 1.5 hours later in the day and this time didn't eat anything that she wasn't supposed to -- the prior day she ate some mail -- off my table, of course.  I'm concluding that she has "separation anxiety".  When we go boating, Sandy takes her to the grass to pee while I go to the boat.  She (Cassie that is) literally cries and whines pulling Sandy around the Marina to the boat.  Now it could be that she just doesn't want to be left behind, but then again, when I take her to pee she's calm.  Hmmm.

I'm still sore from the legs workout on Monday; we'll see what today brings.
