Apr 21/22 - two more quick ones

The 21st, Thursday, flew by.  I went for a bike ride and the Davies arrived before 5pm.  Soon afterwards, we headed to Flagler Ave for the food festival, a series of booths on the street with fare from restaurants in the area.  It was great, giving us ideas for more places to eat, not that we're running out !

The 22nd was about boating.  The motor misbehaved again and seems to be due to the cooling system.  Seems to be, yes, but it's not conclusive.  Over 5000 rpm, no problem.  Less than that, problem.  Rats.  We did, however, do everything other than go out to the ocean.  Time on the island, lunch at Inlet Harbor; it was a wonderful day.  Once home, Sandy went to OceanS Seafood and found that they had fresh tuna and we feasted.  Sometime during that feast we lost power and ate by candlelight.  Life could be worse.

I'll have to figure out what to do about that Johnson.  The Marina is backed up with mechanical work and likely won't be able to get to it.  Perhaps they'll let me have Ralph's Mobile Marine take a look at it -- I'll have to check with Mark, the marina owner.   Their policy is that I can work on my own boat but no outside contractors.  That makes sense, except that they're backed up ...

Today will be busy.  We're heading down to see Bev and Bruce and daughter Julie for lunch and will then be back for dinner.  Yes, it will be busy.

Onward !

ps -- I did a bunch of boxing up for ebay shipments but missed the mailman.  That too will need to be taken care of today, if possible.
