Apr 29 - Epcot

We had a great day at Epcot with Jason, Lorraine and Kim.  Lunch in England pub, wander around, dinner in a German beer garden -- good friends and good times.  We didn't really do any rides, per se, other than the Mexican one to catch some A/C on a hot day.  We did see the film in the American pavilion, for the first time.  It was ok -- much rah rah rah, no focus on the land.  My comment is that my niece Olivia would have been unhappy with the short shrift given to genocide / native peoples.  Oh well.  History is always written by the winner.

It was easy driving except for the major accident at the Edgewater intersection with I95.  We were routed north on I95 to turn around south on I95 at New Smyrna because they weren't allowing you onto the southbound ramp at Edgewater.  Oh well, even with the extra 10 miles we made it just in time for our lunch reservations.

With all the trips to Florida, Jason has now purchased season passes and the Tables in Wonderland dining pass.  That makes it easy to get in and out of Disney, no park hopper passes required, no need to pay attention to squeezing in as much as possible into each day.  We have the Florida resident weekday passes; they have full passes as they don't have that option.

Lisa messaged that Cassie had gotten hold of a book and given it a good chew.  Yes, she did.  She attacked the book like a bone.  When I showed her the book when we got home, she knew that she'd been bad.  She slunk down to the floor and went to her pillow.  As long as she knows that it's bad, she'll hopefully not do that again.  Dogs, especially retrievers, are so eager to please, so wanting of your approval ... and I was definitely not pleased !

Today ... cycling, I think.  We'll see.
