I did get out for a bike ride, nothing major to report on that front. A couple of raindrops hit me, literally a couple, but I dodged that. In the sunshine, it was like a furnace. The occasional cloud was a huge relief.
On the way home, I stopped at North Causeway Marine to see what's happening with my boat. He's going to check out the cooling issue (actually, replace the water pump and thermostats) -- nothing yet. He's committed, as much as he can, to Monday or Tuesday, so we'll plan to have the Davies over, including Kyle, on Thursday. Hopefully that works.
I also got over to the glasses place to get them adjusted yet again. They're better now, but not perfect. I've never had this much trouble with a pair of glasses before. They slip down. I'll have to decide whether I can live with them as is.
The orthotics, well that's another matter entirely. Today at Epcot will be a big test. So far, not good, but we'll see.
Sandy wrapped up most of her garden work. Cassie got a walk. Jessica popped over with Misha, but she (Misha) doesn't like to play at our house. She must be wondering what happened to Cassie as she's much bigger now !
Lisa will be taking care of Cassie today. It will be the longest time that she's ever spent alone. Lisa will come over at lunch and after work.
Sandy and I both have Jessica this morning and will then high-tail it to Epcot, getting there in time for lunch.
Jim came over; the windows are in. He'll be starting the window work shortly, perhaps even on the weekend.
I've been experimenting with an app called eCrumb that tracks you with your cell phone vs SPOT which uses satellite. Each time it's used, there's a new link. This is the link for today --
