Aug 4/5 - here we go again

No opposition to continuing as Lost Channel Trustee ... surprise, surprise.  I just got back from that meeting.  The follow-on meeting regarding our dump took as much time as the LCLRB meeting.

Yesterday was mostly spent driving to and from Toronto.  We did spend a few hours with Harris and Debbie having lunch and wandering in the Kensington Market area.  It's interesting that I spent a lot of time over a period of 7 years very close to there, at UofT, but had never really hit Kesington. 

Driving there was entertaining.  We drove through Toronto and then Dundas West.  Getting home was a pain.  It took us 1/2 hour to traverse the few blocks on Spadina south of College to the Gardiner.  It wasn't until we hit the 407 that traffic opened up and then stopped, of course, on the 400 northbound.  Oh well.

We ate at Swiss Chalet in Parry Sound.  The chicken was actually disappointing.  They've downsized their chickens and Sandy's quarter-white was dried out.  Oh well.

Home around 9pm, we joined Jason and Lorraine in the gazebo for a bit and the went home :).

I'm partly packed for the 1000k, did that this a.m.  I now have to double check my packing and load the car.  I'm hoping to get away around 2pm.
