Oct 17 - low energy !

Surprise, surprise ... I didn't get a whole lot done yesterday. 

I did make a trip to Home Depot for water softener salt and corner beads etc. for the drywall finishing work to be done on the two doors=>windows conversions that we did just before leaving in May.  On the way back, I hit the grocery store. 

The other major accomplishment (we're talking small though) was un-tarping the boat and getting it running.  It started right up and I went out with Cassie to look at things from a different viewpoint.

I lost a bunch more shingles on the dock but the real story is the docks right on the intracoastal waterway, many of them completely destroyed.  Those are major investments (think up to 100k) and insurers don't touch them. 

Sandy kept working the yard, probably not much more than would have been necessary without the hurricane.  I cleaned out the gutters on Gene's side of the house, packed to the top with cedar bits. 

I snoozed a good chunk of the afternoon away.  I needed that sleep.

Today ... not sure.   I do need to get my hair cut !
