Oct 18 - getting back into the swing

I'm not quite there yet; need to take my first back-home bike ride.  I need to do some bike cleanup first.

It is coming together though -- I took Cassie over to the near sandbar for some running and swimming.  I think that she'd forgotten about being hosed down afterwards ...

Sandy helped me get the trailer onto the side yard pad.  I'm not going to load the tires into it just yet as no doubt it will need to be juggled around a few times.

I made another trip to HD, this time to replace the pole mounted yard light that broke off, no doubt pushed by the lemon tree in the wind.

I started some followup -- missed the insurance guy again, left a message for my contractor and the shutters guy, set an appointment for today at 2pm with Serene, the company doing our yard.  I want to go over what I need to do as part of the project; it's a long list.

Today I've got Dr. Wendy, the chiro; have to get my glasses fixed; just got back from the gym ... yes, that too.  Unfortunately even though Sandy turned our memberships back on yesterday, my bar code didn't open the door.  Someone else was arriving at the same time and let me in.

The next time I go out on the water, I need to bring my camera to get some pics of the docks and sailboats, although none of that will be cleaned up soon.  We were very lucky.

Sandy went to the gym and starts with Jessica today.  She's planning MWF; perhaps I'll plan the other two days.  Sandy kept at her training just enough that it wasn't a big transition to get back onto her machines here.  I'm a different story; really need to do work on my lower back, upper body etc.  I also need to train more rigorously for my cycling as I'm getting slower all the time.  Oh yes, and there's Kilimanjaro ...

Jessica is a) pregnant and b) got married while we were away -- big changes coming there !  The rest of the day she worked at the gardens, which are actually starting to look like gardens.  I've got to fix the sprinklers, which are turned off right now.

Is that it ?  I guess so ...

Onward ...
