Oct 23 - try again ?

I rolled up the invisible fence wire and re-strung it, leaving access to the mangroves.  We don't really want her into the mangroves but having the wire across there meant that she had very little area to run.  It's now "U" shaped, but still just lying on the grass.

She's very nervous, afraid of the flags.  Like at the cottage and at Sheryl's, she'll get used to her boundaries.

I started work on the drywall / new windows in the bedroom and bathroom.  That will take many applications because I'm not very good at it :).

I also got the Harley running, over to the gas station worried that I was going to have to push it a block or two, but made it.

Last but not least, I did some bike maintenance, hung up the True North, fixed the Rolf Prima wheel and have the Litespeed ready to ride.  I'm chewing through my tire stock but with the amount of glass on the road, do not want to ride with any well used tires.  Hopefully I'll get out again today.

It was a day for the SYC -- brunch with Jessica and her husband, to celebrate their marriage, give them an Inukshuk gift that we picked up in Canada.  We had dinner at the Tiki; what a lazy day !

Sandy has Jessica today, Wed and Fri; I've got her Tue and Thu.  I've been hitting the gym in the a.m. working on my lower back; wish I could do something about my right shoulder; way weaker than last Spring.  It's a range of motion issue, hurts and therefore you favor it.  I was pressing 80 pounds on the machine last Spring without pain; now at 35 (or perhaps even at zero), there's pain.  Ugh.  Still, getting old is better than the alternative :).

Onward ?!
