The main activities of the day centered on eating; ok we did stroll the length of Flagler and picked up a few things (squeaking ball for Cassie; shoes for Lorraine). We had lunch at a little restaurant west of the Fusion place, close to the north causeway bridge.
After our strolling was over, Jason, Kim, Cassie and I took the Skiff out and gave Cassie a run on the sandbar at the south causeway. Running and swimming; she loves it.
Back at the ranch, we relaxed a bit and then headed over to the SYC for dinner. It was busy with the Brewers Cup (not sure why it's named that), and the kids Halloween. They supply the candy that you give to kids when they come to your table. They had some great appetizers -- wings, deep fried jalapenos, lamb sliders -- and we also ordered food. I'm still stuffed, in fact I got up at midnight, uncomfortably stuffed and sat up for a while, finally getting back to sleep.
Jason and gang leave today, heading for their rental in the Disney area. I've got the insurance adjuster coming mid morning and then if all goes well, I'll get out on the bike but it's terrifically windy, so we'll see about that !
