Nov 15 - the Ides

I cancelled two appointments -- Jessica and the Chiro.  I did get to the Dermatologist for the quick once-over; I'll be back again in two years, unless something of concern shows up in the meantime.

Plumbing and Disney; those are my excuses.  I had to fix some leaking irrigation pipes; dig in electric and dog conduit; do gas plumbing; those took up my day before we left for Disney to meet up with Jason & Lorraine & Kim.

The dog conduit is for the invisible fence.  Eric's man isn't very good at listening and they ended up closer than three feet apart; I hope that they don't cancel each other out where they cross the driveway.  I suppose that I could always move the one crossing up to the sidewalk, which is the area not buried at this point.  I've got until the end of the day today to make that decision.   I could also run a "spare" wire under there just in case ... might not be a bad idea, come to think of it.

Anyway, the back is almost finished and the side walkway has tamped down "base" ready for pavers.  I'll get the A/C guys in first thing tomorrow, not that I need A/C as it's cool now, but so that the walkway is the way that it should be.

The driveway is almost finished as well; expecting that to be done today save the sidewalk.  They'll also be back to do the hurricane shutter bottom track, once he (Clint) does his thing. 

It was good to get away from this for a few hours for Disney !

The outdoor kitchen guy will be here today; I'm almost ready for him.

Disney was great.  We haven't been to the Magic Kingdom for a while and it's really special at Christmas (I know, it's only mid November).  The only "ride" that we went on was the people mover.  We zipped from place to place seeing parades and shows; Kim was our tour guide.
