Nov 27 - results are in !

Just my lab tests, some small surprises, but then I don't know what the typical variance is in some of these numbers.

In spite of all the cheese and yogurt that I eat, my "bad" cholesterol is down, well down from last year.  My total cholesterol is up marginally, so it must be the olive oil, guacamole, coconut oil etc. providing good cholesterol.  That's great !

My triglycerides are up marginally from last year -- from 33 to 44.  That's compared to just under 100 before I cut carbs.  There wasn't a ketone reading in my urine, so I'm on the edge -- last year there was a ketone reading.

Some of the blood counts are low, not out of range but lower than before -- red blood cells, lymphocytes, platelets ... I don't know what that means -- more blood volume / lower percentage ?  That's a question for Dr. Keller.

PSA constant at 0.4.  That's a good thing.  Perhaps it's stuck there ?

In spite of 5,000 vitamin D3 every day and 10,000 MWF, vitamin D is down a little from last year.  My metabolism must just chew up VD3.  B12 is in a healthy range, not much different.  I take that one too.

Nothing else jumped out at me; will be interesting to discuss this with Dr. Keller.

What else ... oh yes ... we went out in the Hydra Sport for the first time this season. Cassie had a blast on the island.  There was another boat with three other dogs and they ran and ran and ran.  That was good for her.  We came back here to the SYC for lunch and then put the boat away.  It needs a good wipe down.

Onward !
