Nov 28 - on the bike again

What a lovely day for a ride southwards !  I got to see some of the Matthew damage in that direction; in particular a mobile home park with ripped off metal roofing and trash everywhere.  Ugh.  I'd seen some of this in the park but not from US 1.

It was slow going southwards, my speed often in the 10-12 mph range with the headwind.  At 29 miles, I head west and that jumped to 16; from Titusville and north, it was more like 18-20 ... ah yes, cruising without a sail !

Now that I'm getting all the RUSA Board emails, the traffic has really picked up, like 80-100 emails in the last 24 hours and that's not done yet.  With most of the current board being on the West Coast, the barrage starts later in the day.  I caught up with Susan Otcenas by telephone late yesterday and Paul Rozelle early this a.m.  (West and East, yes, you guessed it).  Susan wants to hand off the Treasurer role -- what am I getting myself into ?
