Dec 22 - what's for dinner ?

Pike of course.  They're biting.   One for dinner and another in the fridge for another night ... tonight or perhaps tomorrow night.

I worked on that CA Board of Equalization submission (what a name, sounds very 1984-ish), getting it in the works by the end of the day.  Along the way I had four conversations with their help line, pinged Debra, John Lee, Lois and Susan for more information etc.  Now I have to wait as the status is "pending". I guess that my submission wasn't straightforward enough for programmed approval.

Early in the day I gave the new snowblower a workout, but I've already reported on that, I think.  What a beast.  I didn't even have to wear gloves, those hand warmers are so great !

We went for a drive along 522, picking out a tree.  I think that will be tomorrow's exercise and I'll likely decorate it on Christmas Day, which will be quiet, as usual, with the first planned arrivals on the 26th.

The temp is back below freezing again, but not by much.  It will be bouncing around over the next few days.

Today we go into Sudbury grocery shopping.  It's going to be a disaster, with everyone getting out of work early and doing last minute shopping.   Oh well.

Onward !
