Dec 23 - shopping

Have you ever gone food shopping intending to feed up to 14 people for up to 10 days - a) it's a bear; b) it's expensive !; c) it takes a long time, especially in Sudbury, especially when the stores are 1:15 away from you and far apart from each other.

We only hit three stores, but we spent more than an hour each in the first two -- Costo and YIG (Your Independent Grocer).  Tarini's didn't take as long.  We stopped at a Tim's so that Sandy could have some lunch.  Cassie had a break at YIG, peeing in the snow.

About 7 hours later we got home.  Fun.  About an hour later we had it all moved into the house and mostly packed away ... somewhere !

I didn't bother to put out the ice fishing rigs, since we wouldn't be here.  I'd only lose minnows anyway.  They're back out this a.m.
