Dec 8/9 - days are getting away from me !

Time is flying by.  I've had a number of very long conversations with RUSA board members as we prep for the election of officers in January.  In between, I've had a couple of longish walks with my hiking boots.  I'm getting by but they're not comfortable ... but then again, the only thing that's comfortable is sock feet and that doesn't work for Kili !

I've also gotten my hair cut, two months growth chopped off, and the X5 now has the snow tires on, pumped up and ready to roll.  Our plan is to leave early Monday a.m.

Sandy has done some gardening and done a lot of house cleaning.  I've organized "stuff" that will come north with us, probably less than usual but don't bet on it.  Somehow we're always piled to the ceiling of the car.

I will get in one last ride for the year; probably tomorrow.

I had my last Dr's appointment of the year; annual physical.  All's ok.  No surprises.
