Feb 25 - one of several

Jerry and I did my Titusville Populaire, leaving before 10 and back around 2pm.  If all goes according to plan, we'll ride 100+k again Sunday and Monday; 200k on Tuesday, 100 on Wednesday and Thursday and then the 600k on the weekend. 

It's a faster ride when I'm with someone else, always, and that's not just because you do some drafting.  I work harder, which is good, rather than simply cruising.  Yesterday with a strong wind from the west, the only cruising was heading back north just before we hit where the Kennedy Parkway joins US 1.  The Haulover Canal bridge is out until June, so I won't be riding that stretch this Spring.

What else ?  Not much.  I should probably do a little bike maintenance, clean and oil, perhaps before we set out today. 

It's going to be a busy week and not just because of the riding.  I've got some RUSA Treasurer work to do before our monthly Board meeting on Wednesday.

Duane will be here all week painting, but Sandy will supervise that.
