I have done a few things around here, not mentioned, like working on the coffee roaster. It wasn't heating up properly so I replaced the heater. Nope. Up north I'd replaced the "motherboard" and the heater sensor and that didn't do it so I had to replace the heater. Here, I started with the heater and no luck. Dang. So I ordered the replacement motherboard and sensors and replaced both the heater and outlet sensors. Now it's working. The one up north doesn't quite heat up as much as it should have; perhaps I needed to replace the outlet sensors as well.
The reason for replacing the motherboard is that the new heater sensor isn't compatible with the old motherboard. The parts aren't that expensive and we do get a lot of use out of these things.Saturday, March 11, 2017
