Mar 14-16 - Boating and Disney and hanging out

I'm feeling bummed.  One of our prolific riders was killed in New Zealand in a collision with a truck.  Mitsuaki Inagaki, aka Micky Ina.  RIP.  I've been with him on 6 rides, either as a fellow rider or as organizer.  He was the Pres of Audax Japan. Ugh.

That put a damper on my day yesterday, Disney-day.  Otherwise we had a good, albeit very cool, day.  It's certainly the first time that I've been to Epcot and felt cold, even with long pants and a hoodie !

We hit some of the usual suspects -- movies at Canada, France and China.  We did Test Track, Spaceship Earth, Mission to Space (well, 1/2 of that) and the Land.  We also visited the Sea, wandering in there for quite a while.  We ate lunch at one of the outside places and dinner at Marrakesh.  It was all good.

The day before we went boating.  It was a bit warmer but that was a long pants affair as well.  Both Down The Hatch and Inlet Harbor were closed for Matthew repairs, still.  We won't see them open until we're back in the Fall, I suspect.  Cassie got a good run on the island.

We ended up getting rid of the boat, getting rid of Cassie and then eating at Breakers.  With that large, and late, lunch (even David couldn't finish his Fries), dinner was a few snacks here and there.

Today, David and Vanda just hung around.  I did too, trying to do some banking and ending up going to the BofA who was stymied by the out-of-date Rhode Island filing (that's where we're registered).  Security is really great on some of these things -- send me an email with the customer ID and PIN.  Ok.  Here it is.  Great !  Sandy just got back from getting her hair done.  I also visited HD to talk soffitt ... but we have unusual soffit.  Ain't that a surprise !?!

So on we go ... David and Vanda are now out on the Harley, which wouldn't start.  The battery was dead.  It seems that the charging connection shorted out, but just a little, so that it drained the battery.  A little more and it would have blown the fuse, but no such luck.

It never got over 52F today, 11C ? and windy.  It's not exactly beach weather !  I'll bet that there are Spring Breakers at the beach though !  It's also not Harley weather, but I'll bet that they biked far enough to get to their favorite bar, just not cruising.

Onward !
