Nov 4 - self inflicted again !

Remember that circuit breaker tripping that I was trying to chase down and that junction box outside almost at ground level at the back of the house where I disconnected the outbound circuit ?  Well, duh, that outbound circuit was the A/C.  I guess when the A/C was moved from the back of the house to the side, they simply added a junction box.  Joe came over and found that there was no power at the outside unit, of course, and wondered about breakers; all breakers were on; I then remembered the junction that I'd turned off and sure enough, that was the issue.  Joe is a good guy.  No charge for my stupidity !

I'd checked other things but not power to the unit.  I took that for granted !

Other than my stupidity from the day before, it was a good day for a ride, albeit with quite a headwind that translated into a wonderful tailwind.  Once home, Sandy and I went over to Total Wine at International Speedway Blvd & I95 in Daytona and I brought home a sampling of Rhone wines along with the Guigal that was the object of my visit; a good everyday wine.  Sandy picked out 5 bottles to try.  The store is huge with excellent variety.  Want a sub $10 wine ?  lots of those.  Want a $1,000 per bottle Chateau Rothschild ?  Yup, if you want to really splurge, they have that.  Perhaps if I was diagnosed with only a few days/weeks to live, I might try that ... or rent a Ferrari and go for a drive :).

I almost forgot -- 3 minutes from home, yes 3 minutes, a sudden downpour caught me.  3 minutes.  That was the only rain of the day.

Jim and Sheryl are supposed to be here on Wednesday ...
