Dec 1 - progress

I was up at 3:30 a.m.  That's major progress from being up at midnight !  Yesterday was a long, long day ... almost like a day in the midst of a 1200k and I even rode my bike !

The travel bike is still in its box.  I'll have to deal with that at some point but I gave the Litespeed some exercise yesterday.  In fact, if I setup the generator hub on that bike and light, I can use it for the local brevets come January and leave the travel bike ready to travel ?  No, it probably needs a cleaning and check-over before going on another major trip.

Speaking of which, I've been looking at the options for 2018.  The RM schedule is out there with tons of rides in strange places.  Berlin to Vienna ?  Sure ... (kidding ... maybe ...).

It was good to get out for a ride.  I have to get my December 200k behind me in the next few days.  I was hoping for a south wind for a change but that might not happen.

Sandy took Jim and Sheryl to the airport -- Orlando Sanford which is conveniently 45 minutes away -- and I'm sure that they're getting a little taste of cooler weather before they happily come back to Florida and miss the entire winter.  Perhaps they should simply sell the house in Hemmingford and they can play house-swap with us for the long term !  Perhaps together we should pick up a second house in Florida that we could rent out when there's a long period of time when it's not needed ?  Ok, dreaming in technicolor ... tongue in cheek ...

I don't recall doing anything else of import yesterday other than lots of emails, some pc backups and that sort of thing.  We had tuna for dinner ... yum ... and today we'll likely eat at the beach with Jason, Lorraine, Kim and G (Kim's bfriend).  They're visiting today and G is flying back to Ontario tomorrow.  We are having dinner with the Davies on the 5th ... which reminds me that we'll need someone to look after Cassie !

Onward !
