Jan 21 - out for a ride

It's kind of silly that getting out for a ride is a blog worthy event, but that's the way that it goes.  I waited a while for the rain clouds to dissipate and then headed out; it was raining before I got one mile.  I put on my jacket and of course it never rained again, in spite of all the dark clouds around.  The road was wet ... and it was quite cool close to the ocean, in the 50's.  In contrast, Sandy went into Orlando and the temperature was 77F !

Yes, Sandy is working herself back into life as we know it.  She went into Orlando to look at Uggs but didn't end up buying anything.  She took Cassie for a walk.  So far I'm not coming down with anything ... knock on granite because there's no wood around :).

There's nothing else much new.  It's foggy this morning and the temp is supposed to get up into the 70's with the wind from the south for one day, then veer around to the north again and drop.  The furnace is getting a good workout as is the heat pump in the master bedroom and the electric heat in the upstairs bedrooms.
