Mar 17/18 - major flight delay, major

Why don't we just skip the coffee ?  Who needs coffee anyway ? 

Lauren's flight is missing a flight attendant.  I was up at 2 am; Sandy and Lauren were up at 3; we left at 3:40; we got to the airport at 4:50; she was checked in and Sandy headed to the gate with her shortly thereafter.  They'd only give us one security pass, so I went to Starbucks ... what the heck.  While at Starbucks, Sandy called to say that the flight was delayed until 10am ... yeah, from 6:36 until 10.  Only later did we find out that they were missing a flight attendant.

So ... assuming that the inbound is on time, the flight should leave at 10.  I'd headed home, fed Cassie, gone to Mass and then we both checked with car rentals.  It's borderline but Sandy now has an Enterprise reservation and will drive herself home.   She can't leave the airport until the flight takes off.  Take off eh !

Yesterday, the 17th, St. Paddy's Day, we were supposed to go boating.  However, Lauren wasn't through shopping yet and Jim & Sheryl were heading to Winter Park.  I think that if Lauren stayed here a month, she wouldn't be through shopping.  She has had a blast, however, with Disney for three days etc etc. 

The five of us had dinner at Clancy's; what a hoot on St. Paddy's Day.  Flagler Ave was hopping.  Afterward we met up with Jessica, Josh and Noah.  Jessica is being induced this morning; the 17th was her due date.  Hopefully that goes well !

Today, I expect that we'll snooze at some point !  I'm going to take Cassie to the sandbar shortly.  She didn't get there yesterday.
