Mar 15 - the Ides

Just like any other day, the Ides has passed.  Et tu Brute ?

I rode north and back back along the beach.  I have to say that it's as busy as I've seen it in recent years, biker traffic that is.  There were mobs of bikes heading north, mobs along US 1, mobs squared along A1A and Main Street.  The weather is good and that little bit cool keeps the jackets on the riders.  Today, Friday, it will be even busier and Saturday it will be crazy.  By late Saturday and all day Sunday, the exodus will be underway.  All those trailers parked along A1A for the week will be getting loaded up and heading out.  Bikers from South Florida will roar home.

Speaking of cool -- it was 37F early a.m.  It's not much warmer this morning.  I waited until noon to go for my ride.  Before that, I took Cassie to the sandbar.  That was cold too !  I had a sweatshirt and jacket on, my hood up.  Back home, she was relegated to the kitchen while I was biking; baby gate at the door.

Sandy took her for an annual checkup a couple of days ago.  48 pounds and in good health.  That's 20 pounds short of Abby at her peak.

Sandy and Lauren left in the a.m. heading for Animal Kingdom.  They had dinner there and then went to a hotel.  That made more sense than driving back home, getting here late and then heading off early in the morning again.  I'll join them at Epcot this afternoon.  Jim & Sheryl will give Cassie dinner.

Onward !
