Mar 14 - Bike Week

Wednesday was bike week day.  We planned to head up to Daytona Beach and cruise Main Street.  As with Emma's turn on Main Street, Lauren rode up with Sandy in the car and then boarded the bike.  We went around the block twice, crawling along Main Street, which is really hard on the hips, walking the bike.  The second round was at Sandy's request so she could get more pictures.  It all worked out.

We then parked our bikes (Jim and Sheryl were there too) and walked Main Street, marveling as always at the amount of money lining the curbs.  If both sides of the road were an accumulation of parked Ferrari's, it wouldn't begin to touch the value of the bikes. 

Lauren was having trouble deciding on a t-shirt, since there are literally thousands of options, so ultimately the two bikes headed home leaving Sandy and Lauren shopping.  They got home shortly after we did.

We had some of Lauren's favorites for dinner - shrimp and peas.  Another day was done.
