Mar 19 - Tracy & Rick

We dropped off the rental car after Sandy finished up at the gym.  Back home, she busied herself with making the place presentable and then Tracy & Rick arrived.  They were coming from Orlando, visiting Kirsten Abbott.

It's been a while since we've seen Tracy; it was great to catch up.  They live in California.  She was under the weather at our Aunt Ruth's funeral, so she couldn't make it.  They're thinking ahead about retirement and thinking about the East ... somewhere ... definitely not CA.

Leaving here, they were headed south of Savannah to visit someone else and then to NC somewhere ... Asheville ?  Perhaps.

We got some rain so I did a perfect rainy day activity, cranking out my first pass at the 2017 tax return.  Ugh.  Yup, as expected, I owe money.  I guess that's a good thing -- you only owe money if you make money (and have not overpaid estimate payments).  I'd delayed doing this because so many reviews of this edition of TurboTax had problems with Windows 10 installs, but mine went perfectly.

I'll give that a few days and another walk through before mailing.  I'll mail the Randonneurs USA return at the same time.  The Randonneurs Ontario was filed by the accountant in Ontario.  Taxes 'R Us.

Today we're due for some "strong storms", so it's not likely a riding day.  I'm heading off shortly to BMW Werks, in Daytona, to have a look at those cam sensors and the power steering hoses that are causing drips and a top-up of the fluid once per year.  Top-up is cheaper but I hate drips especially when it means that I don't want to park the car in the driveway.

Onward !
