Mar 21/22 - left holding the bag

Snow was hitting the northeast and at first the flight was going and then it wasn't.  After many phone calls, Sara and Jeffrey managed to get rebooked out of Philly for that day but for a shorter duration trip.  They're now booked to leave on Easter Sunday vs two days later.  That's not the greatest, but it's the best that they could do.

With the Philly area being hammered, Jeffrey didn't really expect their flight to leave, but it did.  That's the good news.  The bad news is that one of their bags continued on after Orlando, picked up by another traveler who left their bag on the carousel going round and round and round, a similar pink ribbon attached to the handle ...

Contact the other person and get the bag back, right ?  Well, maybe.  The bag is now in Nassau.  It ain't easy !  Our gang flew from Philly to here on Spirit; the other person continued to Nassau on another airline.  Spirit doesn't go to Nassau.  They have no relationship with a carrier that goes to Nassau.  Heaven only knows what will happen with the bag now.  Worst case will it come back to Orlando as these people return ?  When is that ?

Between the lost bag and Dollar-rent-a-car not having the vehicles that they said that they'd have, the gang didn't get here until sometime between 2 & 3 am.  A chunk of yesterday was spent trying to chase down the lost bag and then, to find out whether Jeffrey could replace the CPAP that enables him to sleep ... nope, 10+ year old prescription, from who-knows-what-doctor etc.  Jeffrey is sleeping on the couch ...

We did get Matthew and Zoe out to the sandbar and they had a blast in the soft mud :).

Onward !
