Mar 31 - round and round

Taxes are out the door ... yay !  Mine and RUSA's ... yay !  I took them to the post office this time.  Mine aren't due until April 15; RUSA's May 15 or, with the simple filing of a form by May 15, Nov 15 ... but I wanted to get this done.   I did find one transcription error on the 990EZ (corporate) form; transcription from my spreadsheet to the form, but AFAIK, the rest is ok.  I doubt if anyone really looks at these anyway.  The key test for the RUSA filing is whether or not we're publicly funded.  With only $17 in interest income, there's not much doubt of that !  If we were running close to 1/3 then we might lose our status as a 501(c)(3).  I've learned a lot of really useless information in this process !

Late in the day I thought that I'd finally tackle my X5 headlights.  I bought some lens restorer more than a year ago; could be two years.  That plus some polishing compound has really done a nice job.  You can still see all the hazing up close but the difference is amazing.  The true test was doing one and then standing back ... wow, what a difference.  It took a lot of elbow grease.  I tried a buffer pad on my cordless drill but it didn't seem to make much difference.

Jeffrey and the gang went to mini golf in Daytona.  It sounds like it took them 3 hours to do 36 holes.   There are some priceless videos !

That's about it.  We had shrimp for dinner.  Sandy is now organizing a ham and all the fixins for our Easter dinner.  The kids are booked into activities at the yacht club, so that will occupy part of the afternoon.

Sara reminded us some time ago that while she reads on the blog about key lime pie, they've never had it !  So guess what, I see a bunch of tiny limes in front of me as I type at my laptop.  Key lime pie is in our future.

Also in our future, hopefully, is boating tomorrow.  Tuesday the gang heads home.

Onward !
