Jul 28 - back in EDT

My flight was actually early, we were off the plane and quickly went to the efficient automated immigration and customs terminals. As quick as that was, luggage was quicker and my bike box was going around the carousel. My suitcase followed soon after and Sandy picked me up in zone D.

Having slept much of the flight, j was feeling pretty good. Regardless, I didn't even think about driving. I know, I know - was I sick ? No, just happy to have a chauffeur.

Sandy brought Emma back from Philly, David and Vanda had arrived, Sheryl and Jim were in residence of course and the two dogs took it all in stride. Cassie didn't even go crazy, she just went over to the chuck-it awaiting some doggie fun.

Dinner, pasta of course, which I hadn't had in at least a few hours. Sheryl's home made meaty sauce made it the best pasta in the last couple of weeks. Now it's time to swear off for a while ! It's time to cut carbs again until Japan where I'll undoubtedly eat lots of rice and Raman noodles ! Udon soup perhaps ?

Today, reunion. Tomorrow, northward.
