Away you say ? But you're always away !
Well, this time we weren't far away. We needed to remind Cassie that there is a civilized world out there and there's a proper way to behave in hotels.
It was an easy drive to Richmond Hill, our Best Western hotel that was upgraded on the spot to the adjoining Sheraton owned by the same company. We stopped at MEC on the way as I needed another head cover for under my bike helmet. Then we went to Stef's to drop off the Whaler trailer. On the way north we picked it up, then loaded with two kayaks and a windsurfer. They're all now up on the shelves in the barn.
Once in Richmond Hill, I left for Mass and then we ate at the hotel when I got back. The next morning we did the 20 minute drive to Mains Mansion in Markham where our annual Randonneurs Ontario meeting was being held. Sandy continued on to visit Marian Kassel and then came back to pick me up and we headed north. We went to the LCBO in Parry Sound to catch up with wine deliveries as well as Canadian Tire and Sobeys.
In Barrie, on the way back, I also checked Princess Auto for tarps. I really need to replace the gazebo winter wrap tarps. I couldn't match the sizes that they stock with our requirements.
Back at 6:30 we scrambled for some dinner and ended our day.
Onward !
