Oct 15 - rolling and stopping

I got out for a ride yesterday; it felt good, a nice recovery ride.  What didn't feel good was not having any nutrition - forgot to take some gels.  Around about 4 hours into the ride I could feel myself running out of gas and the next two hours were noticeably slower.  Oh well.  Temps were cooler than they have been, the Wahoo showing 63-65F.  It really was perfect weather.

That was the rolling part.  The stopping part didn't make as much progress.  I popped off the caliper again, for the umpteenth time, and disconnected the flex hose to see if the blockage was somehow at that joint.  I didn't expect much but it was worth a shot.  The next test, which I will do this morning, is to disconnect at the ABS module under the hood.  If fluid flows there, I'll try and use the compressor to blow out the line backwards and forwards.  If it doesn't, then I'm probably in for an expensive repair but then again, replacing the lines under the car could be expensive too, who knows.

It's even cooler this morning, outside temperature at 50F.   At least we don't have snow !  I see that it's snowing up north and 22F with the temp not getting above freezing for at least the next few days.  That's good news for a frozen lake at Christmas, as long as it stays down.  The deer hunters won't have to worry about black flies this week :).

Onward !
