Nov 12-14 - Disney and back

Some car troubles.  First it was a gas line and now a brake line.  Going and stopping, two very basic things for a car, eh ?  Clearly it doesn't like sitting still for this long !

The brakes were feeling spongy so I decided to bleed the lines and cleared out the old, somewhat brownish fluid ... except for the driver side rear where no fluid comes out no matter what I do.  Even removing the caliper, nothing from the line.  The discussion group points to one of two things - obviously somewhere along the line or the ABS module.  Further investigation is warranted !

We had a great day at Disney with Jason, Lorraine & Kim.  We satisfied our need for Middle Eastern Food by lunching at Spice Road in Epcot and then headed for an Animal Kingdom restaurant at a lodge for dinner, more Indian than African but it was great.  I was then persuaded to go to Animal Kingdom Park to do the new Avatar ride.  The half-hour line turned into 1+ hours and all told, leaving dinner and then back to the car it was easily over two hours.  It was worth it, quite an experience, very nicely done by Disney.

That was Monday.  The car work was Tuesday with followup on Wednesday, removing the caliper.  A variety of other activities, mostly RUSA oriented, took up more of Wednesday and then we had dinner at the SYC with the "usual suspects" on a Wednesday night and then we had our monthly RUSA Board Meeting call.  There were weighty matters to discuss and we ran almost 2.5 hours without getting through the entire agenda.

Delivered Tuesday night was a new coffee maker, the same as we have up north.  It's a disappointment.  It produces hot milk instead of froth.  I'll do some more research & call the manufacturer - I know how this thing is supposed to work - but it's likely going into the "return" bin.

The bike is ready to roll and so am I.  That's today's agenda.  Onward.
