Dec 12 - out the door

Jeffrey decided that he could use my old tires but not the rims as his new VW Atlas has a different bolt pattern.  Too bad that !  However, mounted tires on rims are on the way to his dealer now, for delivery tomorrow.  They'll move the tires onto new rims and Jeffrey will craigslist the rims.  A PITA but they're worth something.

Packing them up was an interesting chore ...

The UPS guy picked them up early afternoon.  We're expecting to see each other again today.  Hopefully the timing is similar.  Then I've got work to do !  The only thing that could hold me back at this point is not physically being able to lift the bloody things.  The old ones were 75 pounds each.  The new ones probably aren't much different but the tires/rims on the X5 now are absolutely huge.  21" rims, 325/30/R21.  Once the new wheels are in place, then I've got to load the car.

Sandy did some more weeding.  Jessica dropped over with her kids and they played in the driveway.  Noah loved Cassie.  He also liked the bubble blower.

We ate at the club; the usual Wednesday crowd except for the lady sitting beside me.  She and her husband joined last week and they own the new ginormous house on Riverside in Edgewater.

Onward ... northward soon ?
