The major dump was New Year's Eve; about 1 foot of snow, give or take. It took me a good 1.5 hours to shovel and snow-blow. I have to check out the grip heaters on the snowblower; they're not working.
The weather was great both days, hovering around freezing and the 4-wheeler and sleds all got some use. The skating rink that David setup was a bit hit but if they want to use it again, the snow blower will be required.
David is supposed to head out today with Lauren and Kylie but he will likely have to wait for the plow. Someone had driven out early this morning before I got up there with the snowblower but they had more clearance than David's car. I'm not sure if I'll head into Britt for Mass, given the amount of snow.
Early this morning the temp was around 26F ... now it's heading into the single digits and minus territory tonight.
We're not sure when Jeffrey is leaving. He's toying with the idea of going into Sudbury tomorrow and leaving the next day (3rd) or leaving tomorrow. We need to leave on the 4th at the latest but I'd like to get out of here late on the 3rd, if possible. Tomorrow will be take-the-tree-down day, which takes less time than putting it up but still a half-day job.
Onward.
