More busy.
I changed out the snow tires on Sunday and Jim put them into the trailer on Monday when he was minding the dogs. I was planning on being lazy and leaving them in the way but he's more industrious than I ! While each wheel was off, I rinsed off the brake and suspension components as well as possible without using the power washer and then did another total car spray wash on US 1 to get rid of as much salt as possible. While we were away, an order had come in, the fitting for removing the oil filter housing. This car isn't as easy - that's accessible from underneath the car only. Ugh. I checked that out. It won't be easy and it might be messy. Up top, the filter housing was empty. Down below, it's full.
Jim was minding the dogs while Sandy, Sheryl and I went to Vero Beach and Sabastian for Bruce's memorial service. It was well done and well attended; a good crowd of friends and family. Matt was there with Kayleigh; Julie and Karl were there with their 4 girls and 1 boy. Bruce's brother and sister were there; we'd never met them before. Sandy, Sheryl and Wayne were the only cousins. A "celebration of life" is still a somber affair. Bruce would have turned 80 this month.
We finally stocked up with groceries; I went for fish (Tuna) and Sandy went to Perrines for veggies.
I had a Randonneurs Ontario call last night and have a RUSA call tomorrow. I'd forgotten that it overlapped with Stef's arrival, so Sandy will have to pick them up.
Onward !
